This flagship store for LL Bean captures the cozy atmosphere of a hunting lodge with large scale rustic details, crafted from natural materials. The massive stone fireplace and recycled wood were sourced locally. In addition water conservation features and energy efficient heating and lighting contributed to a LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) Silver Certification for the project from the U.S. Green Building Council. Designed while a principal in another firm.
