This award-winning design for a vacation villa at the Palmeira resort in northeast Brazil offers seamless indoor/outdoor living space and economical sustainable design features. 

The U-shaped plan provides access to a private courtyard and views of the adjacent links style golf course from every room. Large roof overhangs and natural cross-ventilation eliminate the need for air conditioning. Rain run-off from the roof is captured for re-use in pool and garden.
